Aistech space is a company developing a nanosatellite network for remote bidirectional communications,

air traffic monitoring, and thermal infrared remote sensing.

I was in charge of the operations of the several nanosatellites as well of the ground sector.


Scope of work/Tasks:

● Nanosatellite planning

● Communication and data gathering

● Fixing the nanosatellites’ problems

● Optimizing the existing processes

● Check and fix ground station issues


Results:

● Uncorrupted data downloaded from the satellites

● Healthy and steady space and ground sector

● Optimized processes

NanoSat Lab

Nanosatellite development engineer

February 2022 - September 2022


The Nano-Satellite and Payload Laboratory (UPC NanoSat Lab) is a cross-departmental initiative belonging

to the Barcelona School of Telecommunications Engineering (ETSETB - TelecomBCN). With the design

and development of nano-satellite missions as its main activity, the lab is focused on the exploration of

innovative small spacecraft system concepts and developing and integrating subsystems and payloads for

Earth Observation.

I was in charge of designing and developing a Fresnel Zone Plate antenna deployment system.


Scope of work/Tasks:

● Antenna designs

● Prototype building

● Simulation testing

● RF testing

● Documentation


Results:

Several designs for a Fresnel Zone Plate antenna deployment system.
